First Class Nurseries are owned and managed by the partnership of Rosemarie Large and Linda Breakwell, who are both actively involved in the day to day running of the Nurseries.
First established in 1998, our success has been achieved through personal service from qualified and mature staff with the added benefit of personal supervision from a qualified teacher with many years of pre-school experience.
Many parents will not be aware that there is a new profession called the ‘Early Years Professional’. It is the Governments aim that all nurseries should have an Early Years Professional to lead good practise by the year 2015. First class Nursery already has 3 qualified EYP’s.
We ensure that all staff keep their knowledge and skills up to date, but it is also important to us that staff form warm caring relationships with the children. Our aim is to provide a safe, attractive, stimulating environment, both emotional and physical, where children are free to move about and encouraged to develop their curiosity and imagination both indoors and outside.
